INVISION wrapped this 29,000-square-foot, two-story outpatient building on Westown Parkway in Millennium Forms interference stainless steel. An electrochemical clear oxide layer on the panels bends daylight like a prism, so the shingled field reads blue, green, and violet depending on where you stand and how the sun sits. It opened in February 2020 for UnityPoint Health, pairing the STAR Center and the Developmental Center on separate floors, and picked up two 2020 AIA Iowa honorable mentions and a 2021 Association of Licensed Architects institutional merit award.
