Populous HQ

Populous designed its own Kansas City headquarters at 1400 Baltimore, an 18-story, 625,000-square-foot tower it shares with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City. The firm's space spans more than 100,000 square feet across three floors, built for more than 400 employees with room to grow to 550, and organized around collaboration: over 1,000 linear feet of pin-up space serves 21 practice areas, alongside a monumental stadium stair that doubles as informal gathering space between floors. The office was completed in September 2025.

Parklex Prodema wood paneling and flooring run throughout the space, wrapping the stadium stair, lining meeting room corridors, and finishing the library and lounge areas in a consistent material that carries from floor to wall to millwork.
